Issue 9: The Digital Edition

January 2019

Penultimate Magazine is a magazine for lettering artists, produced BY lettering artists. Penultimate comes out on a bi-monthly basis and has a new theme each edition - from brush pens, to pointed pens, to watercolour and more. The magazine includes interviews with artists, product recommendations, reviews, how-tos, tips and tricks, insider info, community events and workshops and much, much more!

ISSUE NINE is DIGITAL themed, because of course! Issue 9 is the first edition since Penultz has gone fully digital. In this edition, we review the Affinity Designer and Publisher apps in detail - the new rivals for Adobe's programs! We also show you ways you can letter on photos, and create digital content for Pinterest and other social media apps using both paid and free programs. We chat to REAL LIFE graphic designers and pick their brains, as well as giving you the low-down on task management apps to make sure you're The Most Productive You in 2019, and we throw in some fun Valentine's Day projects as well. We also road test the Blue Pine Arts handmade watercolour shimmer set - because what is an issue of Penultimate without an actual art product?! Don't forget - being digital, we now have VIDEO content for you as well as the mag :)

This is a DIGITAL version of the magazine which will be made available to you after purchase - you will not receive a physical copy.

This is for ONE EDITION only. This is not a subscription. It is to pre-order Issue Nine of Penultimate Magazine. Please check the homepage for subscription options.

Penultimate is a BI-MONTHLY magazine, which means it comes out once every 2 months (so, 6 times per year)

**due to the image-heavy nature of this Magazine, the file size is quite large. You can read the magazine online, but to avoid blowing your data, make sure you're connected to wifi before downloading a copy to your device**
